Mohonk Mountain House

I had a blast taking these shots at the gorgeous Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. Since I'm mainly in urban surroundings, it was a welcome escape to surround myself with the majestic beauty of Mohonk for the day (all while taking a photography course there!).

A First for Everything

This weekend I stepped foot on some serious new terrain. If you follow my photos, you'll notice I work primarily with natural light - 95% of my photos are taken outdoors, and the other 5% are taken indoors with natural light coming in. Well, there is a completely other side to photography that involves actual lighting - wow - who knew?! Well, I did know - I just didn't decided to learn about it until now! 

This was my very first experience using professional lighting (in a class at Unique Photo School) and it was eye-opening to say the least. I took these photos during the practical portion of the class - lots of fun and I learned a lot. Totally overwhelmed by the world of lighting (a large part of making a good photo) but excited to travel farther on this terrain!

Three Plus One Makes FOUR!

It's such an hour to be part of a baby's first days. I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family about 10 days into their life as a family of FOUR! Older sister H was so good to her little sister and had a great time playing while C chilled out. Super laid back and friendly, these parents and their two beautiful girls were so fun to capture!

Feel the Love!

The adorable-ness (is that a word?!) of this family was just too much. They were so playful, spirited, and fun which allowed me to capture many amazing moments of these special sisters and their parents. I know I felt the love...and now so will you!

Sweet Baby Raina

How precious is this little girl!?! I had the honor of photographing Raina just prior to her Baptism - surrounded by loving parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was super chill, super cute, and super well dressed!
