City of Brotherly Love!

Totally in love with the quaint tree-lined streets and charming row homes of these Philadelphia neighborhoods. I snapped these while walking around Center City and Rittenhouse Square on a perfect spring day. Such a charming and pretty city!

 

Bloom Where You Are Planted

If only these amazing trees could be around all year! Taken at the infamous Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ, these beauties are jaw-dropping. Branch Brook Park has a cherry tree collection with over 4,000 cherry blossoms in more than fourteen different varieties. The park will soon have more flowering cherry trees than Washington, D.C., thanks to an ongoing replanting program. I was there at the very end of the season, but there were still a few left. The last three shots were taken on a quaint street in Hoboken, NJ.

Cherry Blossoms are simply beautiful and a much-appreciated gift from Mother Nature!

Happy May!

Catching this amazing creature spreading its feathers brought me such joy, I thought in honor of the first day of May (a time that also makes me very happy), I would share these shots taken recently at the zoo. With a little online research, I'm pretty sure this beauty is an Indian Peafowl. 

He is truly magical!

 

GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

What a fun few hours I had hanging with this dynamic duo (check the December archives to the right for pics of these two last fall)! 

Snapping shots of this sweet mom and her fun (and super energetic!) little girl was a blast. It was a gorgeous spring day (yes, one of the few we've had!) on Pier A in Hoboken, NJ - just the right amount of sunshine and the perfect breeze. I'm not gonna lie - I really, really love these (which is why there are so many!) - scroll down to view all them.... 

Sister Act

There is nothing like the bond between sisters. These two cuties are already super tight and they have know each other just two months! Hayley (2 1/2 yrs old) and Lexi (2 months old) posed like angels for these while mom Michelle (friend of mine for 18+ years!) looked on. How adorable are they!?
