Thankful in 2012!

Thankful for the growth of my photography business, and grateful for wonderful family and amazing friends, I was in the spirit of giving back this holiday season. 

After researching several local organizations, it was clear Hoboken, NJ's Jubilee Center would be a special place to partner with. I had the unique opportunity of photographing over 100 children and their families with Santa Claus himself. Our focus was on taking family portraits since many of the families do not have the opportunity to have a professional photo taken of them. 

It was incredibly rewarding to see huge smiles as the kids and had their photos taken and received an awesome gift to take home.

Just the 5 of us!

Well.....two humans....two dogs....and one baby on the way! On a spectacular fall day where the colors were simply out-of-control gorgeous, this growing family was so fun to shoot. There is nothing like the rainbow of hues that fall brings, and nothing like the excitement of waiting for your first little one to arrive. Congrats guys!!

 

Sweet Child O' Mine

What a sweet little love this one was! Those eyes just crushed me when I met her and continued to win me over throughout the shoot. She was delightful throughout so I know her parents won't mind me posting just one of her losing it a little bit. I had a great time shooting these three - they had so much love to go around and clearly were head over heels for their sweet little girl.

A Boxer, A Rocker, A Their Cool Big Sister

I laughed really hard with these guys. These kids exploded with fun personalities and came armed with some of their favorites props (yes even a toy microphone!). With an incredibly sweet sibling dynamic (even though Mom promised me they fight like normal brothers and sisters!), it was very obvious how much they love and admire each other. Shot on the gorgeous campus of Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ (a true hidden gem!) we got some gorgeous color and views. Love these kids - and the moments we were able to capture below.
